Using AWS PartyRock to create AWS Certification Advisor app

During the Architecture Guild, I demonstrated how easy it is to use AWS PartyRock, a no-code tool to build GenAI app, to create the AWS Certification Advisor app within 5-10 mins.

This short guide shows the step-by-step guide to create this app. You can access the app at PartyRock | AWS Certification Advisor.

About the AWS Certification Advisor app

This app will advise you on the relevant AWS certification(s) to pursue based on your job role. With the suggested AWS certification(s), you can indicate your timeline so that it can create a study plan for you.

Step 1: Login to AWS PartyRock

Visit url: PartyRock and you can login using Google, Apple or Amazon user credentials.

Step 2: Describe in natural language the app you want to build

For instance, I want to build an app that advises me on the AWS certifications to pursue. Click “Generate” button after completion of app description.

Step 3: Customise the app

Click on the Edit button on top of the rightmost menu. Once in “Edit” mode, there are many things you can customise.

Examples of customisation

You can finetune the Prompt to suit your needs.

You can switch the Foundation Model (FM) – there are lots of FMs available for you to pick and choose.

You can resize and drag and drop widgets to fully customise your app.

Run your app

At any time, you can test out the app by clicking the “Play” button, or press Control + Enter keys.

This is how my AWS Certification Advisor looks like. And this just took less than 5-10 mins to build!
